The Smartstream Technology range including the SMARTPIT™ PE Manhole, POOPIT™ Sewer Maintenance Shaft, JPIT™ Terminal Maintenance Shaft and Non-Trafficable PE Maintenance Shaft Cover have recently been installed by Kyogle Shire Council in Northern NSW.
New sewer extension works at Bonalbo required a SMARTPIT™ PE Manhole, POOPIT™ Maintenance Shaft and a JPIT™ Terminal Maintenance Shaft for a 150mm SN8 PVC sewer line.
Rehabilitation works at Woodenbong required a SMARTPIT™ PE Manhole to replace a corroded manhole and a POOPIT™ Maintenance Shaft to connect to a combination of 63mm PE, 100mm PVC and 150mm Sn8 PVC sewer lines.
The SMARTPIT™ PE Manholes were supplied to site complete, fully welded and pre benched. All pipe connections for the SMARTPIT™ and POOPIT™ are supplied ready to connect to pipeline materials at the exact angle and grade required by the Kyogle Shire Council installation team.
Resistant to corrosion from internal gas attack, aggressive soil conditions and easy to install the Smartstream Technology system provides authorities with reduced risk of future leaks over traditional structures and provides the authority with reduced installation and infrastructure costs
